Jan Bowles is a brilliant author that perfectly wraps emotion around all her characters. She leaves a trail of mystery along the way, to keep the reader guessing and intrigued.
Eva is pressured by her boss to write an article on the billionaire Jack McClaine. She doesn’t want the job because there is something about Jack that brings out her vulnerabilities. Her past is riddled with tragedy. Jack’s sexy, rugged and a known womanizer. Eva can’t deal with heartbreak, but knows being trapped at his home while she writes her article will be filled with temptation.
Jack is a great character. He’s strong and sexy, and can have any woman he wants, but he sees something in Eva that makes him want more in life.
Jan Bowles surprises us near the end, making our happily ever after that much sweeter. For a well written novel with fully developed characters and a classic love story, pick up your copy of Love Lessons with the Texas Billionaire.
